SAV-A-DC3 The Mr. Douglas Society, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of the legacy of Mr. Douglas. The goal of the Foundation is to continue to maintain and operate Mr. Douglas as a flying tribute to the airplane that made passenger air travel a viable form of public transportation and to honor the skydivers, past and present and future that have and will jump from this aircraft. To accomplish this, Mr. Douglas when fully restored and licensed will travel to air shows and boogies around the United States. Much of our work is currently accomplished with volunteer labor, but we still have to purchase parts and equipment.
